Sixteen men were injured in an accident involving a car (above) and a lorry on the Ayer Rajah Expressway just before 9pm on Wednesday.
All the injured men were from the lorry.
A Singapore Civil Defence Force spokesman said they despatched four ambulances, which took four of the casualties to the National University Hospital and 12 to Alexandra Hospital.
No critical injuries were observed at the scene.
The men are believed to be Bangladeshi workers.
