New private home sales drop 32% in May: URA

1,702 new private residential units, excluding executive condominiums, were sold in May.

This is an almost 32 per cent fall from the record 2,487 units sold in April, showed figures released by the Urban Redevelopoment Authority (URA) on Friday.

The drop in sales bucked the trend of strong sales achieved in the first fourth months of this year, The Straits Times said.
