Based on figures locked in on Feb 14 this year, over the last 12 months, the 25 'biggest losers' saw a whopping cumulative loss of US$125.6 billion (S$157.9 billion).
Forbes attributed the loss to 'tumultuous public markets' and 'adverse economic conditions'.
Interestingly, even the richest man in the world at the moment, Mexican tycoon Carlos Slim Helu, also made it to the list, being US$5 billion poorer than the previous year.
The billionaires in this list are also not confined to a particular country or region, with people coming from countries like China, India, US, Sweden, Mexico, Germany, Russia, UK, and Canada.
