Piyush Gupta joins DBS as CEO

PIYUSH GUPTA: Appointed chief executive of DBS Group Holdings, with effect from today.

Mr Gupta, 49, joins the Singapore bank from Citigroup, where he was responsible for operations in South-east Asia and the Pacific.

In a statement to the Singapore Exchange, DBS said its board is "satisfied with the value that Mr Gupta can contribute".
