Agility Research & Strategy appoints new Director for Research Solutions

Mr Philip Tiongson has been appointed as Director for Research Solutions for Agility Research & Strategy.

This is a new position at the Singapore office of Agility aimed at strengthening the current products and services the company provides to its clients in finance, technology, retail, healthcare and packaged-goods across Asia Pacific.

Mr Tiongson has more than 15 years of experience. He has worked with companies such as Procter & Gamble, MasterCard, Microsoft, GSK Biologicals, McCann Healthcare, FutureBrand, United Overseas Bank (UOB), Overseas Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC), Johnson & Johnson, and AegisMedia across different markets in Asia Pacific.

He was previously with MediaCom's regional analytics team based out of Singapore.

Amrita Banta, Managing Partner of Agility Research & Strategy said Tiongson brings with him a strong experience-base accumulated through the years working with blue-chip businesses.

"We believe that he will be an important addition to Agility as we strengthen our position in the marketing research industry and expand our service offerings to clients in new categories," she said.

Mr Tiongson was also the founding director of consultancy unit UM|Consulting of Universal McCann Singapore.

He was later appointed as Director for the Interpublic Group's Mediabrands Analytics across Asia-Pacific.

Mr Tiongson specialises in econometrics-based modelling, media and communications research, and marketing accountability consultancy.
