One email account is all you need

You can use your Gmail account to send out e-mail messages from your other e-mail addresses.

That is, you can send out an e-mail message from your Gmail account, but have the recipient see another e-mail address in the sender field.

This is useful, say, if you have forwarded your work e-mail messages to your Gmail account while travelling, and want your replies to originate from your work e-mail address.

To activate this feature, you need to set up your e-mail address in Gmail.

Log in to Gmail and go to Settings, then click on the Accounts tab.

Next, click on the 'Add another e-mail address you own' link (above).

A pop-up window will launch, where you can enter the e-mail address you wish to add.

You can add only e-mail addresses that belong to you or that you have access to.

Gmail verifies this by sending a verification e-mail to the address you have added.

Next, log in to the e-mail account you wish to add and follow the instructions in the verification e-mail to confirm your request.

Once it is set up, you can start sending out e-mail messages from the account using your Gmail.
