Fire up the fox

1 Look and feel

Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), the latest iteration of the dominant Web browser, still does not come with themes.

With Firefox, you can choose from nearly 400 themes. From animal cartoons to retro computer icons, there is bound to be one that will tickle your fancy.

Go to https://addons. mozilla.org/ en-US/ firefox/browse/type:2.

2 Spell check

If you are a frequent user of free Web e-mail services such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail and MSN Hotmail, use Firefox's built-in spell checker to ensure your e-mail messages are free from spelling gaffes.

Firefox automatically checks the spelling of words as you type into text boxes that allow more than a line of text. They are checked against an installed dictionary. If a word is not found in the dictionary, it will be underlined in red. The language packs available include British English, Arabic, French and German.

Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/ en-US/firefox/browse/type:3.
