Verdict

The iPhone has a slight competitive edge for now. However, with no removable battery, memory expansion slot, higher-resolution camera with flash, DVD-quality video-recording and better-quality display screen, it may lose its appeal especially among tech-savvy users who demand cutting-edge technology.

When Windows Mobile 7 comes around next year, users will enjoy multi-touch technology.

Do not underestimate Apple though. It may yet surprise users with a new generation of desirable phones.
