THIS is the week of The IT Show and vendors are rolling out their wares to woo buyers, with discounts and free gifts to boot.
Digital cameras will be a big attraction at Suntec Convention Centre where the show will be held, not least because almost everyone has one and is always seeking a better one and a better deal.
Canon last week launched a number of new cameras which take features and technical specifications to a higher level.
Ixus 130 - a 14.1-megapixel compact digital and the slimmest (17.8mm body) to date. It has two new shooting modes as well - Fish-Eye Effect & Miniature Effect.
Ixus 210 - another 14.1- megapixel digital with an ultra-wide 24mm lens. It has a 3.5inch touchscreen LCD and enables playback of recorded images by tapping the camera.
PowerShot SX210 IS - a 14.1-megapixel digital with 14x optical zoom and a 28mm wide-angle lens. LCD is 3 inch wide.
Ixus 105 - a 12.1-megapixel "budget" compact digital with 28mm wide-angle lens, 4x optical zoom and a 2.7inch LCD.
All four cameras are compatible with the new SDXC memory card, which has faster transfer rates and storage capacity of up to 2TB.
They do look similar to previous generations of Ixus cameras.
The only differences are better features and specifications.
Pricing is about the same.
How much: The Ixus 105 is priced at $349. Prices of the other three cameras will be announced in the middle of this month.
