Long-time reader wins Acer mini-laptop

It is literally case of "those who stay will be rewarded".

Long-time AsiaOne reader Chia Hon Fah has been visiting the online news and lifestyle portal for the past ten years, and this week he emerged as the first winner of the AsiaOne Digital PhotoSleuth Contest. When the AsiaOne team contacted him, the softspoken Chia was pleasantly surprised to find out that he had won an Acer Aspire one Mobile Internet Companion.

We spoke to this week's lucky winner:

AsiaOne: How long have you been an AsiaOne reader?

Chia: For a very long time. I think it's about ten years now.

AsiaOne: What type of stories do you look for when you visit AsiaOne?

Chia: AsiaOne is like my newspaper. I visit AsiaOne to read the news and lifestyle stories.

AsiaOne: So... which is your favourite section?

Chia: Digital! I like to read the feature stories, and keep myself updated on the latest gadgets. I enjoy reading the product reviews most.

(AsiaOne Digital grins broadly.)

AsiaOne: Any comments about your win?

Chia: The Aspire one is a very handy gadget, and is a great gadget to bring along when you are travelling. I'm very curious and eager to check out the Acer Aspire one!

The photo search contest, which began on August 1, will run for four weeks through August 31. Readers will have to spot the number of differences between two Acer Aspire one photos. One lucky winner with the correct answer will walk away with a Mobile Internet Companion worth $699 every week.

There are still two weeks more into the contest, so what are you waiting for?
