If you are a video game fan, you should not miss Microsoft's X08 event for the Xbox 360 held at the Marina Square Atrium this weekend from 24 October to 26 October.

Featuring special previews to popular upcoming titles such as Gears of War 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour, the event also features plenty of gaming stations for everyone to have a free hands-on Xbox 360 experience.

Fans can also look forward to seeing popular game character Lara Croft from the best selling Tomb Raider series in the flesh.

There are also some great offers at the event, with plenty of titles and console packages going at good discounts. What we like most is the free Xbox arcade offered to the first 50 customers who purchase four selected titles at 1pm on Saturday, 25 October.

Fans of the open-ended action RPG series Fable will also get to see the recently released game in action at X08. However, this game is located in the M16 tent and is open to a mature audience only.

X08 will be held from 24 October to 26 October at the Marina Square Atrium from 10am to 10pm daily.
