From netbooks to e-book readers, a bevy of new products is hitting the IT Show this weekend.

Kenny Chee shows you must-have gadgets for the young working professional

 

Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t netbook

What: Young executives will take to this sleek netbook, that has a pebble-like pattern on its cover.

It also has a 10.1inch LED-backlit touchscreen that can swivel 180 degrees to convert the netbook into a tablet.

The 1.25kg gadget has an Atom N470 processor and 320GB of storage space.

How much: $949

Asus Eee PC Seashell Karim Rashid Collection netbook

What: The stylish Asus Eee PC Seashell netbook just got sassier.

Industrial designer Karim Rashid has wrapped the 1.145kg Seashell with a luxurious textured surface, which gives it a woven look and turns the netbook into a sleek accessory.

The 26.2mm-thick gadget has a 10.1inch LED screen, a 1.66GHz Atom processor and a 250GB hard disk.

How much: $798

Where: Asus booths 8310 and 8405, level 4

D-Link DIR-412 mobile wireless router

What: D-Link's latest sleek and shiny DIR-412 router allows mobile executives to share their single 3G wireless broadband connection with several colleagues.

This is done by simply attaching to the DIR-412 a USB 3G dongle, a device that allows Internet access through a SIM card.

It allows various users to wirelessly access a single 3G connection.

How much: $80

Where: D-Link booth 6521, level 6

Dell Alienware M11x notebook

What: Dell's latest Alienware notebook will thrill guys who prefer a more portable gaming experience.

Its 11.6inch screen comes close to a netbook's.

While it weighs a bit more at 2kg, it packs more raw power than many netbooks, with a Core 2 Duo processor, an Nvidia GeForce GT 335M graphics card, and 4GB of RAM.

How much: $1,899
