DL low-down: Many cameras still sport wide angles of around 35mm, some have 28mm. The Samsung NV24 has a zoom range of 24- 87mm. Add 20mm more to a telephoto, like from 200mm to 220mm, and you won't feel a thing. However, shave off 2mm off a wide angle, say, from 28mm to 26mm, and you will see the difference. The
NV24 beats them all at 24mm.
Instead of your run-of-the-mill LCD, the monitor is an active matrix organic light emitting diode (AM Oled) screen. This is a new screen technology that is faster, consumes less power and has a wider viewing angle. The user interface is touch-driven via a series of buttons - no smudged screens.
