Good earphones are getting more affordable nowadays, and the latest offering from Philips is right on this trend of offering great quality sound for an equally good price.
Its latest SHE9750 in-ear earphones are surprisingly light and comfortable. Featuring a soft gel sleeves that fits nicely in your ear shell, these earphones do a good job of blocking out ambient sound.
Set at an angle, the earphones might take a little getting used to when putting them on, but otherwise they are good to go for hours without any discomfort. I also found the 1.2m cable just right for carrying around on its own - neither being too long as to be cumbersome, nor too short such that one would typically need an extension cable.
For a mid-range pricing, the SHE9750 offers sound quality and features - like a gold-plated audio plug - that I won't expect to find in products of the same class.
Turn the volume on and you'll be quite taken by the sound that these earphones give, and how well the gel sleeves work in sound isolation and enriching the earphone's bass.
I like the rich tones that these earphones produce and the SHE9750 also seems to do exceptionally well for acoustic music.
The SHE9750 also comes with a plastic case and two sets of different-sized ear buds for a better in-ear fit.
While I liked the option of the spare ear buds, the case doesn't look too impressive. For splendid earphones like these, you might want to skip the case.
Give these gems better treatment with a store-bought soft case, as you would likely find them a good companion to your music player for a long time.
