Cook right and mutton is good for you

SEREMBAN: Does eating mutton really get your blood pressure and cholesterol level up? Not if you know how to cook it right.

So thinks Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, who said that the state government would launch an "Eat Mutton?"campaign during the mini-Maha (Malaysia Exhibition of Agriculture, Horticulture and Agro Tourism) event here this weekend.

"Many are afraid to eat mutton, not knowing that it is actually a good source of protein," he said.

"The important aspect that you should know is how to cook it and that only goats that are less than a year old are good to eat," he said.

Mohamad said the state government would launch a programme for youth to venture into goat farming.
