What do you do to keep fit?
I exercise daily by training in wushu for three to four hours. Wushu is my life. I do a lot of stretching, kungfu handsets - which are sets of skilled movements that build on one's strength and balance - and running. It is important to stay relaxed when I do my training.
What is your secret to looking so fabulous?
I eat well, have a good sleep routine and have a good heart. That is the secret. Eating right, sleeping comfortably and having a good heart helps one to be at peace with oneself and the world.
Has there ever been a time when you were not fit and fab?
Yes, before I first started my kungfu training at the Shaolin Temple in Henan province in China at the age of eight, I was a small and skinny kid with no skills. I lived and trained there for 15 years.
What is your diet like?
I have three meals a day and I eat lots of fruits and vegetables. I like fruits and vegetables because they are good for my health and I also think they are delicious. My favourites are carrots, celery, mangoes and apples.
What are your indulgences?
I love an occasional cake or dessert. I have dessert once a week and I eat all kinds of dessert.
Do you count your calories?
No, I do not. There is no need to count calories if you eat right and exercise regularly.
Do you take supplements?
No, I do not.
What is your sleep routine like?
I usually sleep from midnight to 7am, averaging about seven hours of sleep per day. Seven hours is enough for me as it gives me lots of energy to last throughout the day.
How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance?
I love wushu and working with children which makes my work and life balance perfectly.
What do you do to relax?
I love playing badminton and hanging out with friends at East Coast Park. I go there two to three times a week. My friends and I will roller blade and cycle there. We also go there to eat the seafood.
What are the three most important things in your life?
Family, career and my love life. One's family is the foundation for a good life as a whole.
Would you go for plastic surgery?
Never. Life must be about respecting your parents, being natural, living a natural life and not doing anything artificial to yourself. My parents brought me into this world and it is just not natural to change the way that Nature intended for me to look.
Do you think you are sexy?
Haha, yes, because I am fit and I have a good heart.
