Fri, Sep 19, 2008
The Straits Times

A THIRD public health group has been set up to run the new Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in Yishun.

Alexandra Health will also develop other community health services to serve an estimated 700,000 residents in the north, from Sengkang to Choa Chu Kang.

The community services will include a community hospital and two specialist centres away from the hospital, similar to Jurong Medical Centre, said the new group's chief executive officer, Mr Liak Teng Lit on Friday.
