A judge has ordered that a woman is entitled to a refund 12,300 yuan (S$2,476) from a fitness company after she failed to lose weight, according to the Beijing News.

The client, surnamed Liu, signed a contract in March of 2009 with Shangyaxiyuan Fitness Corp. which claimed they would return all the service fees if they fail to help her lose 32.5 kilograms within five months.

However, the company refused to honor their commitment after Liu failed to shed the extra weight.

The court in Chaoyang District in Beijing accepted the stipulation between the company and the client and ordered the company give back all the fees totaling 12,300 yuan.
