Of zippers, odours and other sensitive issues

MANY people are emotionally sensitive. It's a positive trait if it means being thoughtful and sympathetic in relation to the feelings and sufferings of others.

The trouble is some people get overly touchy when they don't get the attention that they expected. They easily feel hurt, rejected or offended with remarks, which they consider as criticisms. They get annoyed and upset when people break their personal rules.

It's a challenge when you have to be cautious in what you say or do with people. Often, we come across situations where we need to exercise tact and caution more so than any other time. Simple "advice" or "suggestions" can sometimes be taken as criticism or even insult. Here are some common issues that can be addressed in a more delicate manner.
