Hotfoot it down to Front Row next month if you want a pair of Dr Martens patent leather boots from its spring/summer 2008 collection.
The home-grown boutique at 5Ann Siang Road will be the only store in Singapore to sell the covetable kicks from next Friday.
Dr Martens is collaborating with the store to offer selected footwear that match its range of designer, avant garde streetwear from the likes of Eley Kishimoto, A.P.C. and Woods & Woods.
The British footwear label teamed up with uber-cool Parisian boutique Colette in a similar fashion. All its patent boots launched at the store on Jan 21 were snapped up that same day.
Ian Tan, general manager of sales and marketing at Dr Martens Airwair Singapore, says he can't confirm the exact number of pairs sold. The boots retailed at 100 euros (S$200) a pair.
Costing $159 a pair here, the eight-eyelet patent boots (above) available in seven electric shades - red, pink, green, orange, yellow, black and white - look set to be a hit here too, especially since quantity is limited.
Tan says each colour will come in fewer than 15 pairs. Front Row will also retail selected styles from Dr Marten's autumn/winter 2008 collection later this year.
The collaboration will run on an ongoing basis.
