German-based lingerie maker Triumph is obviously bent on going green.
In 2006, its Japanese division, Triumph International Japan, released a bra that could be turned into a shopping bag.
Last year, it launched yet another eye-popping bra that had a miso soup bowl and a rice bowl for cups and a shoulder strap that hides a pair of reusable chopsticks.
Last week, it launched ecochic, a range of lingerie said to be entirely eco-friendly, from the cultivation of the cotton used to the manufacturing process.
The range is made without the use of any chemicals or metals that can contaminate the environment.
It is also made without any dyes or bleach so the collection is available only in the colours that cotton naturally comes in: a brown colour it calls Native Sand and a near-cream hue termed Raw Honey.
By year's end, a bra will also be added to the current collection, which now comprises bandeau tops, camisoles and briefs.
We're pretty sure it would be a lot more comfortable than wearing bowls for cups.
Triumph's ecochic range is available at Triumph boutiques at 02-07 OUB Centre and B1-03 Ang Mo Kio Hub and selected Triumph counters. Prices range from $17.90 to $19.90 for briefs and $29.90 to $39.90 for tops.
