Man, what a shirt

ONE of next season's biggest looks is a throwback to the '90s - the mannish shirt.

Here are more feminine alternatives from Liz Claiborne.

The label is going through a metamorphosis.

The label recently hired Project Runway's Tim Gunn as the chief creative officer and, to revamp the label, Isaac Mizrahi will now do the designing honours.

All eyes are on the label now to see what happens next.

But for now, you can find some great shirts from them.

One option is the shirt dress. This is a very elegant way to wear the shirt.

Get it in a flattering colour and you'll be able to wear it for ages.

More good news: This is one of the most forgiving outfits you can wear.

Don't wear it too short and always make sure it's crisp.

Another alternative is getting it in separates.

Team a smart white shirt with a colourful bottom and you're ready for the weekend.

Lijia (far left) is in a white long-sleeved shirt ($139) and pink shorts ($109). Hamizah (left) is wearing a pink shirt-dress ($199). All outfits from Liz Claiborne.
