FANN Wong and Mark Lee got 'married' in an unconventional wedding ceremony yesterday.

The press conference for Ah Long Pte Ltd was staged as a mock wedding with Fann and Mark appearing in traditional Chinese wedding costumes.

Even if Fann's boyfriend, Christopher Lee, were to barge in to stop the proceedings, he wouldn't have had a chance against the 20 henchmen and their parangs.

The henchmen in sombre black suits held up the prop parangs to form a canopy for Fann and Mark to march in.

The couple even popped a bottle of champagne, but they demurred when emcees Marcus Chin and DJ Cai Lilian demanded that they kiss for the cameras.

Fann squealed: 'But how would I dare to get married after this?'

With their mouths full with the yusheng they had tossed earlier, the pair then ducked under the table to hide.

After Marcus egged them on again, Mark relented and staged a kiss with Fann by turning his head to block the cameras.

Earlier, Mark had teased Fann about Christopher: 'Treat today's proceedings as a rehearsal. Who knows, maybe you would have a live broadcast next year?'
