So said Malaysian actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin in court, explaining the catfight which may now see her spending one year behind bars.
Nur Fazura is charged with assaulting Geraldine Mariana Wong, her then-boyfriend's ex-girlfriend, with a high-heeled shoe.
The assault allegedly happened at Luna Bar at the Pacific Regency Hotel and Apartments in Jalan Kia Peng at 1.20am on 19 Dec, 2004.
If convicted, Nur Fazura is liable to one year's jail or a RM$2,000 ($870) fine.
In her defence, Nur Fazura told a Kuala Lumpur magistrate's court that she had approached Wong, 33, to seek an explanation, and not out of jealousy, reported The New Straits Times.
'She was trying to seduce him by touching his shoulder, hair and cheeks for around an hour,' said Nur Fazura when cross-examined by prosecuting officer R Rukumar.
She said her then-boyfriend of four months, Ahmad Razman, had explained that he was trying to calm Wong as she was drunk and trying to create trouble.
When questioned if she had filed a police report after the incident, Nur Fazura said she did not, but was called by the investigating officer four days later to provide a statement.
Mr Rukumar then produced a police report lodged by her at the Dang Wangi police station on 20 Dec, 2004.
During re-examination by her counsel, Nur Fazura clarified that the report lodged on 20 Dec was on a death threat made by Wong against her, and not regarding the assault.
'I made the report after Geraldine threatened me, saying: 'You are going to be dead by tomorrow',' she said.
The counsel then told the magistrate the defence would call three more witnesses.
