HONG KONG - Actress Maggie Q has finally faced speculation that she is in actor Edison Chen's sex photos and denied she is involved in the incident.

The 28-year-old was once linked to Chen in the tabloids.

When his private photo collection was leaked on the Internet in January, rumours were rife that nude pictures of her would soon surface - although they never did.

At a press conference in Seoul on Sunday, she was quoted as saying by Apple Daily: 'I know of the Edison Chen incident. But I don't understand why I'm involved. Do people want me to be involved?'

She also explained that a sexy photo of her that was passed round online came from a Japanese street fashion advertisement, and not Chen's computer.

Q, who has been based mostly in Hollywood since making Mission: Impossible III in 2006, was in South Korea with actor Andy Lau to promote their new film Three Kingdoms: Resurrection Of The Dragon.

She had cut a publicity tour to Hong Kong amid talk that she did not want to discuss the scandal. But the Korean media brought it up anyway on Sunday, said Apple Daily.

The report noted that she was wearing a Cartier Love bangle, like the one seen on Chen and his celebrity conquests including Bobo Chan and Cecilia Cheung, who both appeared in the photos. Chen reportedly won girls over with the bangles.
