THEY are easy on the eye but don't exactly ooze star charisma - yet. After all, to friends and family, Elisha Chng, 22, is a typical arts undergraduate who lugs textbooks and files to the National University of Singapore on weekdays.
As for Jason Lau, 23, he is known among foodies as the manager of the famous eatery Whampoa Food Street (Keng) Fish Head Steamboat, which is owned by his parents.

Soon, though, the two may be known islandwide for being Mr May and Mr December respectively.
They appear in Calendar Guys, said to be Singapore's first all-male calendar, where they flaunt their slicked-up and testosterone-pumped bods for all to ogle.

They and 10 others were picked from 124 men who took part in last year's inaugural Singapore Calendar Guys competition, organised by Punch! Events & Promotions.
The biggest draw of the contest was the chance to grace the pages of the men's calendar, though they also got cash and prizes of up to $15,000 in total.
The calendar, launched yesterday, will be sold at a special price of $20.08 from 5 to 7 pm at Bugis Junction today, in conjunction with the grand finals of the Singapore Calendar Guys 2008.

The guys who made it to the 2007 calendar are aged between 18 and 26 and include university and polytechnic students, a computer engineer, a personal trainer, a national serviceman and a professional footballer. Azmi Ali Hassan, the winner of last year's contest, is a goalkeeper in S-League football club SAFFC.
Mr Dinesh Sujanani, director of Punch!, touts the guys as 'just attractive local males living in a neighbourhood near you'.
He adds: 'We launched this to give men a chance to shine. It's always the girls who are gracing calendars and getting all the attention.'
Sean Chua, Mr February, came in second and Aaron Lee, Mr September, was third.
Chng and Lau said the fight to be featured in the calendar was hard work. They had to go through grooming workshops, fitness classes and fashion events weeks before the finals, which included kickboxing and DIY furniture-building segments.
'I joined the competition because I wanted to be featured in a calendar,' says Chng. 'It's a personal achievement.'
NSF Sean Chua, 19, says he was drawn to the cash prize even though the contest was held in the midst of his A-level preliminary examinations last year. 'I felt weird being featured in this calendar initially because I'd always thought female calendars were sleazy,' he admits. But the youngest of the group says he did not feel shy posing in so little during the shoot.
'It's okay. I'm used to wearing only trunks during swimming competitions anyway,' adds the former school canoeist.
Others were not as relaxed about posing in briefs.
Mr June, personal trainer Jason Mike Nathan, 22, says he 'looked quite stiff at first' even though he is also a part-time model.
As to whether the guys expect their calendar to be a hit, Nathan says: 'I'm sure girls will want to buy it. In fact, guys may also get a copy to give themselves motivation to train.'
Calendar Guys will be available at places like MPH Bookstores at $23.80 from Nov 1.
