After four months of endless interviews and gruelling rehearsals, 20 gorgeous New Face finalists are ready to take on their final challenge in The New Paper New Face 2008 Grand Final this evening, 7pm, at Takashimaya.
The event, to be held at Takashimaya Square, Basement 2, will be hosted by actor Chua En-lai, as well as two former TNP New Face finalists - Elyna Vijay and Becky Ho.
This year's Grand Finals promises to be a feast for the senses.
The finalists will be presented in four exciting sequences, together with fabulous fashion and great music.
But only one will walk away with the coveted The New Paper New Face 2008 title.
She will take home $10,000 in cash, while the first-runner up and second runner-up will receive $5,000 and $2,000 respectively.
Also up for grabs are five subsidiary titles:
- The New Paper Ms Popularity
- Subaru Miss Vivacious
- Levi's Miss Lady Style
- Rowenta Miss Bella and
- Takashimaya Miss Elegant.
While AsiaOne readers have made their choice, it is up to tonight's judges to decide who the winner is.
This year's panel comprise of experts from the fashion and entertainment industry. They are: Ken Jalleh Junior, Exeuctive Editor of The New Paper; Glenn Tan, Group Chief Executive of MotorImage; Elisabeth Gwee, Editor of Her World; Linda Seek, Marketing Manager of M.A.C.; Addy Lee, Celebrity Hairstylist & Director of Monsoon Hairhouse; and top supermodel Sheila Sim.
