Feast your eyes on these gems at the Singapore JewelFest 2007

Gold, diamonds, gems, pearls, jade - which of these would not set a girl's heart a-flutter?

But before you begin to ogle the offerings that are on display at the Singapore JewelFest this year, we suggest you look here for a brief guide to the dazzling array of precious jewellery that will be showcased at the Jewel Pavilion @ Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza from 12 - 21 October.

Outrageous is the buzzword, and only the most extravagant will do.

This year, the Singapore JewelFest gets a touch of international glitz with the debut of two renowned jewellery brands as well. Fabergé, famed for those legendary jewelled eggs, were originally created for the the wife of Tzar Alexandar III, Czarina Maria Fedorovna, to commerate their 20th wedding anniversary on Easter Day.
Don't miss out on the Lily of the Valley egg. A precious egg made of opalescent-blue turqouise opens in half to reveal a cluster of lilies of the valley, nestled around a rock crystal egg, there are only 12 pieces of it worldwide. The flower motif represents the arrival of spring after a harsh winter that is symbolised by the rock crystal egg.
