Daniel Porthault opened a small lingerie boutique in Paris in the 1920s, but expanded his product range to include bedsheets inspired by Impressionist art. » Vertu's new signature diamond handsets contain only "non-conflict" diamonds, individually inlaid by hand. Four versions make up this new signature collection, featuring yellow, white, black and pink diamonds, and gold pink sapphires. There are only 33 handsets worldwide for the Vertu yellow-and-white diamond phone (right), with a total of 2.4 carat yellow and 4.4 carat white brilliant cut diamonds set into the bezel, middle row key and edges of the handset. Fragile and rare black diamonds light up the black and white handset, while there are at least 389 stones in the Vertu Signature Rose Gold Pink Sapphire handset.
