It was the only show during SFF so far where the photographer's pit was filled to the brim. Video cameras and recording equipment stood neck to neck and fought for prime space as all waited eagerly for the Triumph show to begin.

Lush flora transformed the runway into a garden paradise, and all in the audience waited to see what Viva La Eve by Triumph would do to seduce the senses. The lingerie fashion show promised to celebrate the many faces of Eve with a collection that ranged from innocent to seductive.

Forget functional wear here - all the bits of fabric on display is meant to tempt and tickle your senses.

The many faces of Eve were represented in three collections inspired by Lady Godiva, Queen Jezebel and Isis.

White, pastel pinks and pale blues channelled the noble Lady Godiva who was said to have rode naked through the streets of Coventry in England to relieve the people of her husband's onerous land taxes.

Next, deep reds, hot pinks and black represented the collection inspired by Queen Jezebel, a seductive temptress who was recorded to have dominated her husband and sons' will in her lifetime.

Isis, Egyptian queen of magic, made her debut in fluid lingerie in shades of turquoise, brown and gold.

Triumph was all out to put on a sensuous show of skin barely concealed in lace and ribbons. There was a lot of variety as lingerie came in the form of crystal-studded bodysuits, the tiniest thongs and sequinned corsets.

It was also clever enough to put together two of the things that women just love - lace and precious gemstones. Models wearing 24 statement lingerie pieces, with inspiration drawn from a biker chick to the original Eve were sent down the runway together with exotic baubles from Lee Hwa Jewellery.

Other stage props included an albino python and two large Doberman pinschers led by hunky male models during the Isis segment.

The highlight of the entire show was the entry of Triumph's diamond thong. Costing a cool $168,000, it made its entrance on a model whose modesty was protected only by her long blonde locks. She showed off the transluscent black and pink thong as she was carried on the shoulders of two male escorts.

Innocent, this certainly was not. Decadent? Oh, for sure.
