Flood traps cars

UPPER Thomson Road was flooded last Saturday evening, thanks to a heavy downpour.

A reader of the citizen-journalism website Stomp, who was having dinner nearby, said: "Within 10 minutes, cars parked along the service road were half-submerged. Car owners rushed to move their vehicles, but some were not so lucky (and could not do so in time)."
