It seemed like a cheap thrill gone wrong for this Jeep.

The vehicle, a 4x4 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, was stuck in a drain at Spottiswoode Park, supposedly after a fun night's out of testing its four-wheel drive, Stomp reported.

Worse still, the crane that came to its rescue also landed in trouble.

The reader who submitted the above photo said: "Its driver must have tested out its four-wheel drive power in the dark of the night. But all it took was a drain to kill the fun."

"The crane to the rescue was spotted stuck on soft soil and another crane had to come in to lift it out."
