Did these MRT staff behave recklessly?

A STOMP contributor onboard a train on the North East Line was shocked at the reckless behaviour of the staff members.

In an e-mail yesterday, he said: "They were manipulating the controls on the front right corner of the cabin.

The train moved erratically. Sudden jerky movements forced some kids who were walking behind me to sit down in panic."

According to the contributor, the three employees were either laughing or cracking jokes.

Comfort DelGro says it is investigating the matter and will take disciplinary action if the safety of commuters had been compromised.
