Caught on video: Dangerous drivers

Poor lane discipline makes for dangerous roads.

That was the point two readers wanted to make when they submitted videos of vehicles cutting across their lanes dangerously to STOMP.

In the first incident, James was making his way to Queensway along Alexandra Road when the reckless driver cut across his lane without signalling, STOMP reported.

The driver continued to turn towards Ayer Rajah Expressway (Tuas) after cutting through his lane.

STOMPER James said. "He nearly caused an accident - the video says it all."

In a second incident, a taxi driver almost caused an accident while abruptly changing lanes.

The user who submitted the video from his vehicle camera hoped that "TransCab is able to better educate their drivers about road safety so as to prevent accidents," STOMP reported.
