More than 40 bus services will be affected during the NDP Preview this Saturday, July 31, and on the actual Parade day itself, Aug 9.

Route Diversions & Bus Stops Skipped
24 services - 10, 14, 16, 36, 56, 57, 70, 70M, 97, 100, 107, 107M, 111, 130, 131, 133, 133M, 162, 162M, 186, 195, 196, 502 and 518 - will be temporarily diverted due to road closures. As a result, they will not be able to call at bus stops along the affected roads.

In addition, eight SBS Transit services - 51, 63, 80, 124, 145, 166, 174 and 197 - will bypass the bus stop along North Bridge Road opposite the Treasury Building (bus stop code 04249) from 4.00pm to 8.00pm.

Besides this, the bus stop opposite the Mountbatten Vocational School (bus stop 80141) will be closed from 1.00pm to 11.00pm due to bus lane closure, and this will affect Services 10, 12, 14, 16, 31, 32, 33, 158 and 196. Services 131 and 162 will also bypass the bus-stop outside the NTUC Income Centre along Bras Basah Road (bus stop 04179).

Service 11 which serves the Stadium area will cease operation from 1.00pm due to road closure along certain sectors of its route.

Bus Delays due to Crossing of Mobile Columns
27 services - 2, 10, 12, 32, 33, 51, 54, 57, 63, 70, 80, 100, 107, 124, 130, 131, 133, 145, 147, 162, 166, 174, 186, 195, 196, 197 and 502 - will also experience delays along their regular routes when buses are directed to stop for between 10 to 15 minutes to facilitate the crossing of the Parade's mobile columns. The crossing will take place along these affected roads at the following times:

* North Bridge Road / High Street - High Street
(2 pm and 7 pm)
* High Street / Hill Street - Hill Street
(2 pm and 7 pm)
* South Bridge Road / Pickering Street - Pickering Street
(2.15 pm and 7.15 pm)
