Why the delay in ez-link refund?

ON SEPT 27, I attempted to top up by $20 the value in my ez-link card on a POSB automated teller machine (ATM). The money was deducted from my bank account but it was not credited to my ez-link card.

Due to long queues for the exchange of ez-link cards, I notified TransitLink only on Oct 3. I received a call the following week instructing me to contact EZ-Link.

I called EZ-Link around Oct 10, and again about a week later, and was told to send my bank transaction record by e-mail. I did so on Oct 21.

I called the following weekend and found that EZ-Link had not checked its e-mail account.

I asked for a definite refund date or explanation for the delay but got neither.
