Italian Bortolotti to test for Toro Rosso

By Alan Baldwin

LONDON, ENGLAND (Reuters) - Italian teenager Mirko Bortolotti will test with the Red Bull-owned Toro Rosso Formula One team in Spain next month after impressive performances in this year's F2 feeder series.

It will be the second Formula One outing for the 19-year-old, who also tested for then-champions Ferrari at the end of 2008 after he won the Italian Formula Three title.

"My target is to get to Formula One in the next few years so to be selected for this test is very important for my career," said the Italian in a statement issued by Formula Two organisers. The test will be at Jerez on Dec 2.
