FORD Motor has begun talks in earnest with parties interested in buying its Jaguar and Land Rover divisions. The groups include India's Tata and Mahindra & Mahindra. Other suitors include private investment outfits like JPMorgan Chase's One Equity Partners (where former Ford chief Jacques Nasser works) and New York-based Ripplewood Holdings (which has hired retired Ford COO Nick Scheele as an adviser).
