COE prices up slightly

Most COE prices recovered modestly in August's 2nd Open Bidding Exercise, this is up from among the lowest levels this year.

Certificate of entitlement for cars up to 1,600cc (Cat A) went up to $13,289, a 6.3 per cent increase from $12,501 earlier this month.

Premiums for cars above 1,600cc (Cat B) also rose, up 7.8 per cent from $12,889 to $13,890

The Open COE however took a dip of 0.7 per cent from $14,101 to finish at $14,001 - the third lowest level this year.

Commercial vehicle COE climbed 3.2 per cent from $12,589 to $12,989, While COE's for motorcycles (Cat D) slid 7.3 per cent from $1,413 to $1,310.
