Drunk crashed into pillar

A MOTORIST with twice the permissible alcohol limit died after he lost control of his car and hit a pillar along Telok Blangah Road, a coroner's court heard.

The accident happened at Sentosa Gateway in front of VivoCity shopping mall on May 20 last year.

Mr Koh Lye Hwee, 27, who was carrying four passengers in his car, did not stop at the give-way line on approaching Telok Blangah Road at abou 6am that day.
