5 hurt in car crash

FIVE pedestrians were hurt in an accident between two cars in Hougang on Thursday evening.

One of the five, a woman in her 50s, had serious head injuries.

It all began when one car, travelling along Hougang Avenue 2 in the direction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3, collided with another car at the junction of Hougang Avenue 2 and Hougang Avenue 8, causing it to hit the pedestrians who were by the roadside.
