A couple were killed in an accident early yesterday that left the Mitsubishi Colt they were in in a mangled heap.

Mr Ng Soon Kiat and his girlfriend, Ms Lin Mei Yan, both 25, were travelling along Jurong Town Hall Road towards Bukit Batok when the accident occurred at 1.45am.

He is believed to have lost control while navigating a bend. The car went up the centre divider and crashed into a tree.
