Over the Formula One weekend, there will be free taxi rides up for grabs.

All you have to do is look out for these specially branded taxis and flag them down.

There will be 50 of them plying the roads.

How do you identify them?

Just look out for a red and yellow taxi sporting the tagline "DHL: official logistics of F1." like the taxi in the featured photograph above.

But there are only certain locations where you can flag them down.

On September 26, you can only get free rides from Robinson Point and Chevron House, from 12 noon to 1 pm. Similarly, on September 27 and 28, you can only get free rides from Takashimya and Centrepoint, from 1pm to 2 pm.

If you won't be at the designated spots during the F1 weekend, never fear. 

DHL is also offering a total of up to $20,000 worth of taxi vouchers to the public members who spot the DHL-F1 branded taxi.

All you need to do is to SMS the taxi plate number and NRIC number to <76333> to receive a $20 taxi voucher, and enjoy free rides. There will be 15 winners everday during the promotional period, September 15 to November 15, 2008.
