>Five more bus lanes will be implemented from Sept 22. These normal bus lanes will operate during peak hours at 7.30 am to 9.30 am and 5 pm to 8 pm on weekdays.
They are along Aljunied Road, New Changi Road, Upper Changi Road, Upper Changi Road East, Simei Avenue and Tampines Avenue 5.
The five bus lanes come on top of the existing 114 km of normal bus lanes covering the island.
Previous surveys have shown that the two most important aspects of bus journeys for commuters are waiting time and travelling time.
