Maserati Q1 sales slide 30 pct

>SINGAPORE - Fiat's luxury sportscar brand Maserati saw global sales slide about 30 percent in the first quarter, but it still expects to match 2008's record sales this year after the launch of new models, an executive said on Thursday.

"It will help sustain Maserati sales even in this very badperiod," Simone Niccolai, managing director of Maserati AsiaPacific, told Reuters in Singapore. --REUTERS
