Ssangyong Eng wins bid for MRT stations

SEOUL - South Korean builder Ssangyong Engineering & Construction on Monday said it had won a 696 billion won (S$802.8 million) order from Singapore's Land Transport Authority.

Ssangyong said in a filing with the Korea Exchange that the order was to build a transportation tunnel and two stations in the Bugis district of Singapore.

Shares in Ssangyong were up 4.1 per cent by 0248 GMT, leading the Kosdaq market's 0.25 per cent gain.
