Electric cars coming next Sept

SINGAPORE will get its first batch of electric cars from Mitsubishi from September next year.

These cars will be used for a three-year study costing the Government $20 million.

Companies which participate in the studies will have to buy the car for $80,000 to $90,000 and collect data on how long the cars take to charge, how long it can go without a charge and how easy it is to charge the car.
