A Mercedes studded with 300,000 Swarovski crystals?

CHIBA, Japan - Some 403 car manufacturers, aftermarket parts makers, car shops and others participated in the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon, Japan's annual motor show that showcases custom cars and car accessories.

Over 631 vehicles were displayed for the three-day show, including the glittery Mercedes-Benz SL600 studded with 300,00 Swarovski crystals, customised by car acessory company Garson/D.A.D.

Honda also showcased its Insight Sports Modulo Concept, a customised hybrid based on its Insight.

Toyota also launched its G Sports Series cars at the motor show, according to Autoblog. The customisation arm of Toyota offers personalised cars with sporty performance.
