There's no award for being the first to reach the traffic lights so go easy on that little fella. Tests have shown that pedal-to-metal behaviour chops your fuel economy figures by over 35 per cent. Combined with Point 2. this will bring down your increase your mileage significantly and reduce the wear and tear on your brakes.
