AN OFFICE in Coyuco Building, along Jalan Besar, was broken into and ransacked on Jan 8.

A 50-year-old woman, who locked the office at 3pm on Jan 8 before she left, found the main door open and the lock damaged the next morning at 8.15am.

The interior of the office was ransacked with drawers forced open. About $500 and 20 crossed checks were stolen.

The office was not fixed with any CCTV and alarm system.

Police advise offices to take necessary security measures.
